Nigerian recording artiste, Ayra Starr, has caused a stir on social media unveiled her new tattoos.
The singer-songwriter acquired a ‘scissors’ tattoo on her body, and it has raised eyebrows. The suggestive artwork has coerced social media users to wear their thinking caps due to the ideology behind it.
While scissors are a tool used to cut or make adjustments to tools, objects, or materials; however, it has a different meaning, in sexual connotations, “scissors” typically refers to a sexual position most commonly associated with lesbian or female same-sex partners.
Specifically, it involves the partners intertwining their legs in a way that resembles the shape of an open pair of scissors.
