The All Progressives Congress (APC) and the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) have shared the spoils of the by-elections conducted in Kano State on Saturday.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) conducted the by-elections for the Ghari/Tsanyawa and Shanono/Bagwai constituencies.
While Garba Ya’u Gwarmai of the APC won the Ghari/Tsanyawa constituency, NEC announced Ali Lawal Alhassan of the NNPP won Shanono/Bagwai constituency.
The results of the by-elections showed that NNPP received a total of 16,198 votes and APC received 5,347 votes in Shanono/Bagwai. However, in Ghari/Tsanyawa, APC received a total of 31,472 votes, while NNPP got 27,931 votes.
