The Action Peoples Party on Saturday cleared 22 chairmanship positions out of 23 in the Rivers State local government election.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission, Chief Election Officer, Justice Adolphus Enebeli, announced the result in Port Harcourt, the state capital.
Enebili, while declaring the results, mentioned that the declaration of the result for Etche Local Government Area has been put on hold due to the continuous process of tallying the votes.
He further stated that the results for Etche LGA will be declared alongside that of the 319 councillorship seats at a later date.
