Edo State House of Assembly has served impeachment notice on Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu.
Speaker Blessing Agbebaku directs clerk to serve an impeachment notice to Deputy Governor, with 7 days to respond.
Recall that Shaibu had alleged a plot to impeach him from office, claiming his governorship ambition was responsible for the plot.
According to a source, 22 lawmakers out of the 24 have signed the impeachment notice making the eventual removal of Shaibu inevitable.
