National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has finally opened up on why he spent so much time out of Nigeria in far away London, United Kingdom (UK).
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Tinubu made the revelation when President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday received the APC National Leader at the State House, Abuja.
Recall that the two-term Lagos State Governor left the country for London and spent about three months there.
At least over 30 politicians, including President Buhari visited him in London.
Tinubu’s health quickly became the subject of controversy, and it was only speculated that the former Governor had a knee surgery.
Following a close door meeting during his visit to Buhari at the Residence Presidential Villa, Abuja, Tinubu confirmed he was in London for knee surgery.
“I came to thank President Muhammadu Buhari for visiting me in London when I had a knee surgery. He demonstrated empathy. He is an exceptional leader,” Tinubu said.
