A gas plant went up in flames in Agbor, headquarters of Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, killing one, razing several buildings and leaving many persons with serious injuries.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports the gas plant is located along the ever-busy Benin-Asaba expressway, with the resultant fire affecting adjoining buildings.

The source of the gas fire was yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report, but eyewitnesses say firefighters have been drafted to the scene and are making frantic effort to put off the fire.
