No fewer than five people have reportedly died after a fuel tanker fell and exploded along the dilapidated Warri-Sapele road in Delta State.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports the fuel tanker fell and exploded on Friday morning near Ometan junction, along the ever-busy Warri-Sapele road.
It was gathered that a mother and a child were among those who died when the fuel-laden tanker lost control and fell, spilling its content on the road, before exploding.
Houses and businesses were burnt as a result of the fuel tanker explosion.
Meanwhile, the State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has visited the scene of the incident.
