A FIFA committee has declared the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Amaju Pinnick, eligible for membership of the FIFA council.
In November 2020, Pinnick announced his intention to vie for a seat on the FIFA council following speculations that he will throw his hat in the ring for the next Confederation of African Football (CAF) presidency.
