Social media personality and influencer, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Very Dark Man (VDM) has been released by the police.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Very Dark Man was arrested and remanded in a police cell for alleged cyberbullying, details of which were barely made known by the police.
The police only claimed they received a series of petitions against his conduct online.
Renowned human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore disclosed on Sunday that Very Dark Man had been released.
It was gathered that Barrister Adeyanju Deji and an astute legal team worked tirelessly to ensure the release of Very Dark Man.

Earlier, the social media influencer had shared a video where he alleged that controversial cross-dresser Bobrisky was sleeping with many Nigerian lawmakers and police chiefs.
He said Bobrisky would have been arrested for openly claiming to be gay and being a trans woman if not that the socialite was sleeping with lawmakers and top police chiefs.
Giving an update on platform X, legal practitioner, Comrade Deji Adeyanju confirmed the release of Very Dark Man.
“After 5 days of back and forth, we have secured VDM’s release,” Adeyanju wrote.
