FSS General Secretary, Jovan Surbatovic made the position of the football association known while speaking to Serbian state broadcaster, RTS.

According to FSS, both sets of fans chanted “Kill, kill, kill the Serb” in the second half of the Group B match in Hamburg.

“What happened is scandalous and we will ask UEFA for sanctions, even if it means not continuing the competition.

“We are sure they will be punished, because (UEFA) has already responded to our appeal to remove the so-called journalist from Albania from the championship,” Surbatovic.

Recall Serbia and Albania had fined as fans from both countries displayed banners of nationalist maps, external in their opening matches. Serbia were fined £12,250 after fans threw objects during the England match.

TNG reports Serbia are in Group C of the Euro 2024 and began the tournament with a 1-0 defeat by England on Sunday. They are scheduled to play Slovenia this afternoon.
