Tanzanian club side, Young Africans football club, have landed safely in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom Capital for Sunday’s CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final first-leg tie against Rivers United.
The players and officials of the Tanzanian champions touched down at the Victor Attah International Airport on Friday afternoon after spending Thursday night in Lagos.
They are billed to have thier first training session tonight at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
The encounter is slated for Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Sunday by 5pm, Nigerian time.
The pre-match conference will hold at the Stadium by 1 pm on Saturday.
Thirty-year-old South African referee, Tom Abongile, will be in charge of the game.
The reverse fixture will be played at the Benjamin Nkapa Stadium, Dar es Salaam next week.
Rivers United qualified after finishing second behind Asec Mimosa of Cote d ivoire from the group stage of this year’s CAF confederations cup.
