A viral video has shown bandits in Zamfara State celebrating the recent Eid-el-Fitr festival in Munhaye community in the state.
Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency expert and security analyst in Lake Chad posted the video on his platform X handle on Thursday.
Recall that Muslims across the length and breadth of the country joined their counterparts in other parts of the world on Wednesday to mark Eid-El-Fitr, which signals the end of the one-month Ramadan fast for the year 2024.
The Federal Government of Nigeria also declared Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday as public holidays to celebrate Eid-El-Fitr in the country.
