English Premier League side, Liverpool have applied to acquire French forward Kylian Mbappe on a loan deal ahead of next season.
Recall that Mbappe rejected a record-breaking deal from Al-Hilal on Thursday.
The Saudi Arabia Pro League side was ready to offer the France captain a one-season deal worth €700 million.
PSG had accepted a world-record £259 million offer from Al-Hilal, but Mbappe refused to even meet with their officials in Paris.
According to The Mirror, Liverpool have now stepped in to offer Mbappe a one-year loan deal.
A possible loan move to Anfield could allow Mbappe to complete his dream move to Real Madrid on a free transfer in June 2024.
Mbappe has repeatedly told PSG he would love to move to another club with only Real Madrid being the only realistic option.
