…allege heavy extortion by task force members
Residents of Kubwa, a satellite town of the Federal Capital Territory FCT are in panic mode as okada riders allegedly vow to tackle members of Task Force over heavy extortion.
TheNewsGuru.com, TNG reports that the planned showdown by the okada riders was contained in a viral audio message sent to landlords and residents.
As at midnight the viral message had made some schools start considering whether to allow kids to attend classes today.
In the message obtained by TNG, it was clearly stated that residents should be armed with any form of weapons to defend themselves as it is no retreat no surrender.
On Thursday, some residents who spoke TNG under the condition of anonymity claimed that okada riders were seen holding meetings in different locations as task force members seize motorcycles of their members.
One resident said: “Oga tse na express dem ban okada pipu nobi inside Kubwa na abi government wan add insecurity join this hunger.
Another said: “Despite the high cost of transportation in this axis are we still going to face more challenges.
