Hollywood actress Halle Berry has responded to her ex-husband David Justice’s claims about the reason for their divorce.
David Justice recently appeared on the “All the Smoke” podcast, where he stated that their marriage failed because Halle Berry didn’t fit his traditional expectations of a wife.
According to Justice, Berry didn’t cook, clean, or seem motherly, which led to issues in their relationship. He also mentioned that he was young at the time and didn’t know much about therapy, suggesting that counseling could have saved their marriage.
Halle Berry seemingly clapped back at her ex-husband with a post on Instagram, where she shared photos from her vacation. The caption read, “Phew…! cooking, cleaning and mothering.” The post included pictures of her vacationing with her partner, Van Hunt, and a birthday cake.
Halle Berry and David Justice were married from January 1, 1993, to June 1997. Justice claimed that Berry proposed to him after knowing him for only five months, and he accepted because he didn’t want to hurt her feelings.
