‘In spite of the harsh economic realities, we have created hope in the world’

Rotarian Vincent Iwueze, the Hope president of Rotary Club of Festac Town has thanked his members for their support to create hope in the world during the 2023-2024 Rotary year.

Speaking during a briefing for the 2023-2024 Rotary year, Iwueze while marking the culmination of their “Create Hope in the World” initiative urged members to stay current with their dues to avoid being delisted from the organization.

He said that the briefing also served as a time to acknowledge the challenges faced throughout the year due to the harsh economic climate.

Despite these difficulties, President Iwueze expressed his gratitude to members for their achievements and contributions to the club’s success.

The club, during the briefing in Lagos, amended its bylaws, presented a cheque to the family of a bereaved member, and received a report from her Rotaract club leader.

The club’s 42nd Rotarian, Iwueze also emphasized the significance of adhering to the bylaws and working towards the club’s progress.

The presentation of a cheque to the bereaved family member served as a gesture of love and support as part of the club’s core values. The club also received a report from the incoming president of the Rotaract club of Festac Town, highlighting their activities and achievements.

“With the conclusion of the “Create Hope in the World” year, the club now looks forward to finalizing its activities and transitioning go.”
