Morocco’s Jayed Jalal has been appointed the centre referee for international friendly between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Black Stars of Ghana on Friday.
Jalal was one of the center referees at the just concluded Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.
The 36-year-old will be assisted by compatriots Akarhad Mostafa (Assistant I), Brinsi Zakaria (Assistant II) and El Fariq Hamza (fourth official).
The match between the two West African countries is billed for Grand Stade de Marrakech
The Super Eagles and Black Stars will clash for the first time since the 2022 FIFA World Cup play-off in March 2022, when Ghana qualified at the expense of Nigeria after drawing 1-1 in Abuja following a goalless draw at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
The encounter will kick off at 5 pm Nigerian time.
