Former Dean of Education, University of Lagos (UNILAG) and pioneer Registrar/Chief Executive of Joint Universities Preliminary Education Board, (JUPEB), Prof. Duro Ajeyalemi has died of COVID-19 complications, TheNewsGuru.com, TNG can authoritatively report.
TNG reports that Ajeyalemi died on Wednesday (today) four days after a former Vice Chancellor of UNILAG, Prof. Ibidapo-Obe also died of the coronavirus disease.
TNG reports that the late don was 70-years-old and retired from the services of UNILAG in November 2020.
Meanwhile tributes have started pouring in for the late professor.
