Court summons former FBN chairman, Otudeko over ₦30 billion fraud

Justice Chukwujekwe Aneke of the Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered Oba Otudeko to appear and respond to charges brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

TheNewsGuru reports that the judge issued the directive on Monday, mandating the former chairman of FBN Holdings, Otudeko to take his plea before any application contesting the court’s jurisdiction can be considered.

The anti-graft agency had previously filed a 13-count charge against Otudeko and three others over an alleged ₦30 billion loan fraud.
