Akeredolu urges Senate to confirm Magu’s appointment as EFCC chairman

Just in: Tinubu, Fayose in Ondo as Akeredolu takes oath of office

Rotimi Akeredolu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has been sworn-in as the governor of Ondo State.

Recall that Akeredolu who took the oath of office as the new governor of Ondo state defeated Eyitayo Jegede of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Nov.26 governorship election.

His running mate, Ajayi Agboola was sworn into office as deputy governor earlier.

Among those who graced the occasion are the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu; Senate President, Bukola Saraki and Bisi Akande.

Others include state governors of Ogun, Niger, Kogi, Sokoto and Oyo states. Also, Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, governor’s forum and Governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose equally attended to witness the event.
