The funeral of former President Muhammadu Buhari, who died in London on Sunday at the age of 82, is currently ongoing with high-powered delegation of political figures and dignitaries arriving in Daura, Katsina State.
The ancient town, Buhari’s birthplace and final resting place, is witnessing a surge in human and vehicular movement, as Nigerians from all walks of life gather to pay their last respects to one of the country’s most influential leaders.
Among the early arrivals in Daura are heavyweight political figures, including two former vice presidents and an array of former governors and ministers.
