Nigerian kidnapper rearrested after breaking out of Ghanaian cell

A suspected Nigerian kidnapper has been recaptured, 5 days after breaking out of a cell at the Takoradi Metropolitan Police Command in Ghana.

Samuel Udoetuk-Wills escaped from the custody on the 30th of December, 2018, but was recaptured in the early hours of today, in an abandoned building at Kanssawurodu, near Takoradi. .

It was gathered that he was caught while sleeping and upon his arrest, he head-butted one of the policemen in an attempt to escape. He has since been transferred to the Police Headquarters in Accra. .

Samuel was first arrested on December 22, in connection with the alleged kidnapping and disappearance of a number of girls, but mysteriously escaped from cell with the suspected help of his guardians.
