Nigeria’s social media space got heated on Sunday with many users blasting the Minister for Youth and Sports, Solomon Dalung over a supposed grammatical error.
The Minister while responding to queries from members of the House of Representatives on financial management within the Sports Ministry had said “The funds ‘spended were properly spended’ because we got them from intervention funds from Mr. President.”

His response ‘spended were properly spended’ which is deemed as grammatical blunder has however generated much reactions from Nigerians online, with slamming him and the President.
