A video of a yet-to-be-identified cross-dresser being harassed and stripped in Abuja has caused a stir on social media.
In the video, which surfaced on social media, a group of people could be heard confronting the trans-woman in a public space over his outfit.
The cross-dresser wore a strip-coloured gown.
The crowd, in an attempt to shame the cross -dresser for his choice of outfit, hurled derogatory comments as he tried to walk away from them.
The young man was stripped before he left, with a warning not to wear such an outfit again.
