A video showing the moment some northern youths destroyed a billboard erected by the state government to welcome President Bola Tinubu into the state has caused a stir on social media.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports a video clip captured the alleged incident which occurred shortly after the Vice President, Kashim Shettima visited the state on Saturday to launch the Yobe State Agricultural Empowerment Programme.
In the video making rounds, a yet be idenitified youths can be seen climbing onto the billboard which features a photograph of President Tinubu, Kashim Shettima and Hon Mai Mala Buni with a caption: ‘Thank you Mr president, we are honoured and encouraged by your visit. Have a safe trip.’

This development comes at the heels of the planned protest by some Nigerians against the Tinubu-led government over the exacerbated nation’s economic challenges.
