A video showing a shocking moment when dock and port workers at Car Park C, Tin Can Port in Lagos disgraced a female customs officer on what was said to be her last day at work has surfaced on social media.
According to reports, the yet-to-be-identified female customs officer who was said to have attained the position of Assistant Commissioner in Customs service received an unusual farewell after workers hurled insults at her instead of accolades while leaving the premises.
The incident reportedly happened on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.
In the video surfacing on social media, as the retired AC descended a staircase on her way out of her office, workers are seen standing outside in their numbers, chanting “Isa, ole.”
Some of the workers could been seen holding placards as they screamed “ole”, which means thief in English.
The chants continued even after she left the premises.
