Nigerian radio personality, Ordinary President Ahmad Isah has declined to honour the invitation extended to him by the National Assembly (NASS).
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Ordinary President Isah is the President and Founder of Nigeria’s first ever human rights radio, popularly known as Brekete Family Radio/TV.
Isah, however, elected to send representatives. He was invited to appear before the Nigerian Senate over a recent broadcast of the Brekete Family radio show.
Isah during the broadcast spoke with Kogi Central Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan over grievances she is having with Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
Isah called Senator Natasha and the Senate President on the live show on Friday, February 21 but was only able to speak with the female Senator.
While Natasha responded to the call and alleged that she was victimised by the Senate leadership, the number Isah called for Akpabio did not pick three times.
It was later found that the number Isah called on the live programme did not belong to Akpabio.
The Brekete Family Radio/TV CEO was subsequently invited by the National Assembly to appear before the Senate.
“I am streetwise. I am not scared. But I am not going to the National Assembly today for security reasons. My people will represent me,” Isah said.
