Pastor Jerry Eze dragged for inviting E-money, Obi Cubana for birthday party

Ossai Ovie Success, the media aide of former Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, has called out famous clergyman Pastor Jerry Eze.

TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that the former aide, via his Facebook, expressed disappointment over the invitation of famous socialite Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money, and billionaire businessman Obi Cubana to the birthday party of the lead pastor of Streams of Joy International.

Recall Pastor Jerry turned 42 in August but recently held a party celebrating the new age.

Amongst guest lists include E-money and Obi Cubana.

In a personal reaction, Success via his verified Facebook page stated that Obi Cubana and E-Money, in his view, do not embody the true spirit of Christianity and, therefore, should not have been invited.

He wrote, “Pastor Jerry Eze shouldn’t have invited E-money and Obi Cubana to his birthday. This is disappointing. We all know E-money and Cubana aren’t genuienly christians, considering their lifestyles.

“Just as Bishop David Oyedepo didn’t invite them to his birthday despite their celebrity status, Pastor Jerry Eze, Lead Pastor of Streams of Joy International, shouldn’t have invited them, as this puts his faith into question.

”If this guys were to be poor living a worldly lifestyle, I don’t think he would have invited them or associated himself with them but then they are rich Popular celebrities

“In the Bible, 2 Corinthians 6:14 states, “Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?”

“It’s disappointing that Pastor Jerry invited E-Money and Obi Cubana without encouraging them to commit to Jesus Christ.

“The birthday celebration should have been an opportunity to win souls for God, but after watching the birthday videos, I didn’t see E-Money or Obi Cubana give their lives to Jesus Christ.”
