Police seals Ondo Assembly as lawmakers clash

The crisis rocking the Ondo State House of Assembly continues on Monday morning as police shut the Assembly premises.

During the assembly’s sitting today, a motion of Vote of Confidence was moved by the Majority Leader of the House, Hon. Ifedayo Akinsoyinu and adopted by the majority of members seated, a solidarity of the Honourable members of the House put paid to the lingering controversy over the leadership of the House.

The sitting was however disrupted by miscreants after the passage of motion and commencement of the executive session, an occurrence which made the Police to intervene and sealed up the Assembly premises to safe lives and properties.
