Hollywood actress Kelley Mack, known for her role as Addy in Season 9 of The Walking Dead, has passed away at 33 due to complications from diffuse midline glioma, a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer.
Her family announced her death on her Instagram page, sharing that she passed away peacefully on August 2, surrounded by loved ones, including her mother and aunt.
Kelley had been battling the disease for some time, undergoing treatment and sharing her journey with fans on social media. Despite her health struggles, she continued to work in the entertainment industry, starring in the upcoming film Universal and appearing in shows like 9-1-1 and Chicago Med.
Her sister, Kathryn, paid tribute to Kelley, describing her as a “bright, fervent light” who will be deeply missed. Kathryn also revealed that Kelley had already appeared to some family members in the form of butterflies after her passing, a sign that brought comfort to those grieving.
