Nollywood actor, Charles Ugochukwu Born, has issued a public warning to women who send him nude pictures without his consent.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, the actor said he was speaking on the matter reluctantly but felt the need to address it because it has been happening repeatedly.
According to Born, he respects women who boldly express interest in him through private messages on social media. He described such actions as courageous and worthy of respect, saying it shows confidence
However, the actor stated that sending him nude pictures is unacceptable. He stressed that it crosses his personal boundaries and makes him uncomfortable.
The movie star cautioned that if the practice continues, he may be forced to make the pictures public and tag the senders. He noted that while he would not claim ownership of such images, they remain the property of the sender since they created them.
“I didn’t want to do this, but well, here it goes,” he wrote. “Ladies, it’s okay to slide into the DM and shoot your shot (I respect that), but please, if I get any more nudes, I’ll post them and tag you, as it’s your intellectual property anyway. God bless you as you send.”
