Adekunle Gold, Afrobeat singer, has caused a stir on social media after rewarding multiple students who graduated with first-class honors from various universities with a generous sum of N250,000.
The initiative began when Adekunle Gold invited students to share their transcripts on X (formerly Twitter), asking those who graduated with first-class honors to post their results.
The response was overwhelming, with many students sharing their achievements.
The singer then went on to credit over seven students with funds. His actions have since sparked a series of reactions, with many praising the gesture on social media.
