Unknown gunmen shot dead a prominent Urhobo chief known as Olorogun Emmanuel Bikogha, the Echihigan of Ughievwen Kingdom, in Delta State on Sunday.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Olorogun Bikogha was shot dead by the gunmen at the popular PTI Junction in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of the State.
Bikogha was attacked by the gunmen at the junction at about 7:10 pm, according to a palace colleague of the deceased, Chief Freeborn Ayoma, who confirmed the incident.
Details of what might have led to the killing of Bikogha, who hails from Owawha town, Ughievwen Kingdom, by the unknown gunmen are still sketchy at press time.
Efforts to reach the Police Public Relations Officer of the Delta State Police Command, DSP Bright Edafe through his mobile phone for comments proved abortive.
