Senator Galaudu resigns from Kebbi PDP

A former Senator Representing Kebbi North Senatorial District, Sen. Isah Galaudu, has resigned from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Galaudu, in his resignation letter dated Aug. 20 and addressed to the PDP ward chairman in Augie North, Augie Local Government, said that PDP was being controlled by All Progressives Congress (APC) politicians.

“I write to inform you of my resignation as a member of the PDP with immediate effect.

“It is obvious the party is controlled by the national ruling party politicians and as a consequence, substantially obliterated,” he said.

Galaudu, who was senator between 2011 and 2015, commended the party for the support and kindness it had offered him.

The former senator is also a former Chief of Staff to the President of the Senate between 2015 and 2017.

He was equally the PDP governorship candidate in Kebbi State in the 2019 general elections.

Galaudu also served as governing board member of Usman Danfodio University Teaching Hospital from 2009 to 2011.
