Awele Agatha Eluemunor, a final year student of Delta State College of Nursing, Agbor, Awele Agatha Eluemunor was accidentally killed by a learner driver in Ika South Local Government Area of the state.
TheNewsGuru reports that the accident which occurred on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 when the suspect, which happens to be a 100-level student of University of Delta (Unidel) was being taught how to drive by her boyfriend on the major road.
According to reports, the yet-to -be identified Unidel student lost control of the vehicle, veered off the road hitting several pedestrians, including 23-year-old Awele, who was set to graduate in November 2025
Awele died on the spot.
It was further learnt that after she was arrested on Thursday, the suspect demanded the police permit her to go write her exams which led to a protest by nursing students.
The deceased was laid to rest in her hometown in Ogwashi-Uku, on Friday, February 21.
