Tobi Amusan, the women’s 100m hurdles world record holder has criticized the Nigerian government over the kit provided for herself and other athletes representing the country at the 2025 World Championships in Tokyo, Japan.
TheNewsGuru.com(TNG) reports that Amusan voiced her concerns over what she perceived as unprofessionalism and lack of coordination within the federation.
In a video she shared on her Snapchat, Amusan could said unlike other countries that provide their contingents with kits in suitcases, the Nigerian government hands them their own kits in nylon bags with little or nothing significant inside it.
‘’This country will steadily embarass you. Una come say make people nor switch allegiance? Una never ready. No singlets. Nothing!’’ she said
She further stated that although the Jamaican authorities are also lagging behind with regards providing for their contingents, they are not as worse as their Nigerian counterpart.
