Following his death, a video has surfaced on social media of Muhammadu Buhari asking Nigerians for pardon after serving as president.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Buhari served as Nigeria’s president between 2015 and 2023. He also served as military Head of State between January 1984 and August 1985.
Buhari seized power after ousting President Shehu Shagari in 1983. He was overthrown by Gen. Ibrahim Babangida on August 27, 1985.
In a video now circulating via social media, Buhari said: “Whoever thought that there has been some form of injustice on him we are all humans, there is no doubt I hurt some people, and I wish they would pardon me and those who think that I have hurt them, please pardon me”.
