President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is expected back in the country today after a trip to France.
This was confirmed by Tinubu’s Director of Media and Publicity, Bayo Onanuga on Monday.
Onanuga wrote in a tweet: “Nigeria’s President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu returns to Abuja today after weeks of a well deserved vacation in France. E kaabo! Se dada le de!”
Tinubu’s absence from Nigeria’s political scene has been a subject of controversy.
The President-elect left for France on March 21 after months of rigorous and nationwide electioneering campaigns, town hall meetings, and the general election in which he was returned victorious.
