‘Tragedy’ befalls ADC barely 48 hours after opposition leaders confirmed coalition

The official website of African Democratic Party (ADC), has crashed barely 48 hours after opposition leaders announced the adoption of the party, ahead of its 2027 presidential election.

TheNewsGuru reports that the coalition formerly took over the structure of the ADC at an event held at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua centre in Abuja on Wednesday.

Former Senate President David Mark took over the ADC as it’s acting National Chairman, while former Interior Minister, Rauf Aregbesola, will act as it’s National Secretary.

The Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi, Labour Party (LP)’s presidential candidate in the 2023 election, former Osun State governor Rauf Aregbesola, former Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi and ex-Kaduna State governor Nasir el-Rufai were all present.

Quick checks at www.adc.org.ng on Friday afternoon, shows a message which reads; “The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to the site owner reaching his/her bandwidth limit. Please try again later.”

When a website shows the Bandwidth Limit Exceeded error, also known as Error 509, it could mean that the site is receiving a sudden and high volume of traffic more than the host can allow.
