Today, August 19, 2018 will remain a sad for veteran musician, Yinka Ayefele, as Oyo State government demolishes his [Ayefele] Fresh FM, an Ibadan-based radio station valued at 800 million naira.
The demolition exercise, TheNewsGuru gathered, began around 6’o clock in the early hours of Sunday.
The location of the station has been a subject of controversy in recent times, with the management of the station and the Oyo State Government locked in a war of words. The government had warned that it would take down the building.
Ayefele had earlier taken the matter to court and blamed the state government of victimising him.
