Veteran Nollywood actress Ireti Doyle recently took to Instagram to share a nostalgic moment from her illustrious career.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that Doyle via her Instagram on Wednesday shared the memory revealing a colleague recently sent her an old picture from the project. The film, directed by Izu Ojukwu, marked Amstel Malta’s first foray into Nollywood production.
According to her, the film, ‘SITANDA’ was a commercial success, earning 11 nominations at the African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) in 2000s.
Sharing the photo on Instagram, she wrote: “A colleague just sent me this picture, Oluwa o!😂 The year is 2006.The film: SITANDA… the fruit of @amstelmalta first foray into Nollywood directed by Izu Ojukwu. It went on to be a roaring success and was nominated in 11 categories at the AMAA awards. My journey is certainly diverse and colourful!”
