[Video] Anyone not paying tithe won’t make heaven – Pastor Adeboye

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, [RCCG], Pastor Adeboye has warned that Christians defaulting payment of their tithes will not make heaven.

The revered pastor made the statement in a recent video; he said “Some of you quote Matthew 23:23 as your excuse not to pay tithe, saying Jesus said so. Really! Let’s see”

Adeboye read from the Bible: “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former.”

He said the Bible made stressed payment of tithe and not otherwise.

Adeboye was actually talking to pastors???? Telling them to repent? – Could this be because many have seen the gospel truth that the #FreeNation online church is preaching? – Tithing must really have reduced to an all time low for this desperation to set in.

Daddy Freeze, Pastor Adelaja blasts Adeboye over ‘non-tithe payer’s won’t make heaven comment’

Meanwhile, in a swift reaction, On-Air Personality, Daddy Freeze, and Pastor Sunday Adelaja, founder and senior pastor of the Embassy of the Blessed Kingdom of God for All Nations, have both condemned the Adeboye’s video [Sermon on thithing], which has since gone viral online.

Daddy Freeze shared it on his Instagram handle and once again stated his disappointment in the man of God. He also seized the opportunity to ask if the man of God in his right senses.

He shared the video with the caption: “Is this for real? If it is, are this man’s senses still in his custody? Is this how hard this tithing issue is biting them? Do I sense desperation? His son came out the other day and said tithing has increased, does it look to you like it has? How dare he curse people with hell? Let me show him the Bible today and teach him that tithing is what ensures people of hell! Jesus said love your neighbor as yourself, yet they disobey Jesus by building schools their neighbors can’t attend, often with their neighbors contribution. How can you disobey Jesus and tell me to obey Malachi? Mark 12:31 NIV the second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these. Tithing is the law and teachers of the law are going to Hell according to the Bible read it! Christianity deserves an apology for this unscriptural doctrines and teaching. On the other side, Pastor Adelaja who took time to analyse Adeboye’s preaching in his own vlog asks what role the death of Jesus plays in Christendom if tithe is all that will ensure access to heave as posited by the RCCG revered leader.

Adelaja said, ” This is scandalous – it is an insult on the death and resurrection of Jesus and an assault on the gospel of Jesus Christ”
