Angry youths have set Lagoon Hospital, Liverpool Roundabout, in Lagos State, on fire.
According to eyewitnesses, one of the #EndSARS protesters in the area was allegedly shot by a Customs officer.
The wounded man was rushed to the hospital for medical attention but he died before he could get admitted.
The angry youths subsequently set the hospital ablaze, blaming the staff of the medical centre for the death.
In a tweet, Lagoon Hospital said the man was brought in dead and unknowingly to the staff, the bike man who brought him abandoned him outside the hospital.
“Hello all, we are open to all emergency cases. The man was brought in dead and the Okada rider tried to abandon him. Unknowing to us the okada rider drove way and dumped the dead body outside the hospital,” the hospital tweeted.
