A video of a newly built mansion owned by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu has surfaced on social media.
In a viral trending video, Adelabu, alongside his supporters, were seen in the well-furnished white mansion reportedly worth millions of naira in Ibadan, Oyo State.
In the same clip, some of his supporters described the mansion as the next Oyo State government house in 2027.
Adelabu is reportedly plotting to contesting for the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial ticket ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Adelabu presides over a sector with multi-dimensional challenges of liquidity crisis, inadequate power supply, grid collapse, problematic tariff structures, tariff affordability concerns, and ageing power equipment.
