A video showing the terrifying moment a two-storey building collapsed at Amusu street in the Orile Iganmu area of Lagos state has surfaced on social media.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that the scary incident occurred on Monday, 14 October, 2024.
The house, according to eyewitnesses indicated that the structure had shown signs of distress since last week.
Sharing the video on the microblogging platform, X formerly Twitter, a user noted that no life was lost in the incident

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Nosa Okunbor, stated that there were no casualties.
He added that the agency’s response teams are currently conducting search and rescue operations.
“LASEMA Response Teams in search & rescue operation at a self-collapsed building on Amusu Street, Baale Bus Stop, Orile Iganmu,” Okunbor said in a terse statement.
