The Police Command in Lagos State has disclosed receiving a petition against popular musician, Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable; hence, the singer was arrested.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Portable was arrested on Tuesday over alleged failure to pay the balance of his G-Wagon vehicle.
The Lagos Police Command Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, has confirmed the arrest of the popular musician.
Hundeyin said that the command received a petition against the musician for failure to pay the balance money of the vehicle he purchased from a car dealer.
“Yes, Portable has been arrested. He bought G-Wagon for N27 million, paid N13 million and refused to pay the rest, claiming the vehicle was bad. We arrested him today,” Hundeyin said.
