President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has admitted he did not watch the final of the 2004 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations after Nigeria came back from two goals down to defeat hosts Morocco 3-2 on Sunday.
Tinubu revealed he was scared of developing high blood pressure while hosting the Super Falcons at Aso Villa on Monday evening.

“Honestly, I did not want to watch the match. I didn’t want high blood pressure.
But people came into my room and turned on my TV to that channel.

“When it was 2-0, I got very restless and very offended. But I was still there watching.
“I was impressed by the indomitable spirit of resilience, determination and courage of the team,” he said.
