Wife of Orangun of Oke-Ila Oba, Adedokun Abolarin is dead

Olori Solape Abolarin, the wife of the Orangun of Oke-Ila, Oba Adedokun Abolarin has passed away.

TheNewsGuru reports that the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke confirmed the sad development on Tuesday in a condolence message to the monarch,

The Governor through his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, described Olori Solape as a virtuous woman and a strong pillar of support to the traditional ruler in the administration of his domain.

“I extend my heartfelt condolences to the Orangun of Oke-Ila, Oba Adedokun Omoniyi Abolarin, on the passage of his beloved wife, Olori Solape Christianah Abolarin,” the governor said. “I sympathise with the family and the people of Oke-Ila for the loss of a mother to many and a beacon of humility.”

The governor expressed his condolences to the Osun State Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, where the deceased previously worked. He further urged the community to honor her memory by upholding the values and contributions.

“My condolences also go to the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in the state, which has lost one of its resourceful and dedicated staff,” Adeleke added. “The deceased must be honoured in the progress of the communities that she stood for while alive.”
