The chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dele Momodu has berated the suspended Governor, Sim Fubara, following reports of a peace deal meeting in Abuja.
TheNewsGuru recalls that on Thursday night, President Bola Tinubu brokered peace between Fubara and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.
The closed-door meeting was held at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja, where Tinubu hosted Wike, Fubara, and the suspended Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Martin Amaewhule, alongside a handful of lawmakers.
It was alleged that President Tinubu imposed a condition for the reinstatement of the suspended Rivers governor. According to reports, Fubara must not seek reelection in 2027.
Reacting, the PDP chieftain via his Instagram page on Saturday stated that Fubara embraced servitude and the utmost form of slavery as a means of reconciliation.
In his words: “IS THIS THE DEMOCRACY WE FOUGHT FOR? A President in public glare tells an elected Governor to accept SERVITUDE and highest degree SLAVERY as RECONCILIATION… Mba!! Pls, what’s in this power that makes many Nigerians behave in such bizarre manner… FUBARA, sorry, I thought you said you were a man… Will you die if you’re no longer a Governor… Another one bites the bullet… WHAT A SHAME.”
