Woman behind fake testimony at Zion ministry arraigned

A woman identified as Helen Loveth Alo, who allegedly delivered a testimony at the Zion Prayer Movement Church has been arraigned in a court in Enugu.

TheNewsGuru recalls that the suspect in a viral video had claimed during her testimony that she purchased a N300m mansion.

A Roboconsult staff member, Adedokun Olabisi, explained in a video that Loveth gained access to the property and falsely claimed ownership.

Following her confession, detectives from the Enugu State Police Command, attached to the Legal Section of the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID), on February 1, 2025, arrested her.

A statement by the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Daniel Ndukwe, said during interrogations, the suspect confessed to the crime, admitting that she acted alone.

Quoting the PPRO, “She was arraigned on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, before the Enugu North Magisterial District Court on a five-count charge, including obtaining by false pretence with intent to defraud, defamation of character, and attempting to commit a felony by trying to sell the property.

“She was granted bail, and the case was adjourned to April 9, 2025, for further hearing.”
